One of my clients, who has only believed in the physical level of experience, is currently finding that this is limiting him in his personal growth. He has been very resistant to opening up to any kind of spirituality, having had some very negative and confusing experiences with religion and spirituality in his past. He recently came to the conclusion that he doesn’t really know what spirituality is. And so he asked me how I would define it. The below is my response to him.

Some people have absolutely no idea where to begin in transforming their obstacles. Others know exactly what they need to do, but one obstacle or another is in the way. I see the human Soul as the membrane though which the Universal light shines. We have all seen the computer projectors for doing PowerPoint presentations. The projector contains a membrane which can be reprogrammed by the computer to give the colour and density of light needed to project the correct image onto the screen.

I am always curious as to why people turn to Jesus Christ as there Saviour. I know for us we turned to God as we had no where to turn to. Christians told us that God would lighten our burden.

These are some words from men of God who were so burdened for others and who compassionately cared that others might be rescued and saved from their sins and sin. There are people around today who are equally concerned. Will you join them? When you carry a prophetic burden there is always sufficient strength for the task.

I just got home from a Women’s Spirituality Retreat. I am always amazed at the gifts I receive during this weekend once a year. I think my favorite part was my date with God… Most days, I wake at 5 am. No matter the time I go to bed, my eyes spring open at five and usually, I am fully awake bounding from bed to my office – my mind flooded with ideas…
