Living in a world full of trouble, cares, and plenty of anxiety, worry and stress, we can forget as Christians that God’s peace is available to us any time of the day and no matter what we are facing. God’s peace comes not from the outside of us but rather it comes from the inside of us, out of our born again spirit.

I always thought dad would choose to be buried so when it was revealed to me that he and my mother picked the mausoleum option I was quite surprised. But I didn’t give it much thought because the idea of my father not “being here” seldom entered my mind. Not to mention that I never gave the “post-death” formalities much thought for I viewed death and dying as something final and changeless. I never thought of it as a new beginning. My understanding and presumption of what I believed death to be was rewritten completely after December 21, 2006.

Kabbalah has shared its knowledge and teachings how man can easily achieve greatness and success, but there are always negative forces working in the background that can pull us down. Without a firm knowledge of these forces and protective measures to ward of its effects, we can be sure that we will only enjoy a temporary taste to life’s greater joys.

When I was young and before I took to astrology I used to believe in the words of Norman Vincent Peale, dale Carnegie and napoleon hill. I used to think that just hard work and talent can help people to go places. One can become what one wants. As the wheel of life moved, when astrology became my full time profession and the ups and downs of life helped me to appreciate karma, lineage karma and the eternal wisdom of India. There is nothing wrong in concepts, ideas and models based on the western concepts of hard work success etc. it has a very limited application. As one evolves one come to the point of higher understanding and then these ideas get expanded and evolved.
