In a prior article on worship leading I have talked about the praise section of church worship, so now I would like to turn my attention to my favorite part of worship leading, the worship part of the service. This to me is where the “rubber hits the road,” because this is the time I adore most, getting up and private and private with the Lord.

This article was written to give encouragement to those with low self-esteem and sense of worth. No matter what people say about you, no matter how dark your circumstances are, God says you worth is beyond measure!

Solomon was first to tell us to take the time to consider the ant, now I can’t stop. Every time I find out one thing it opens the door to another. These amazing little creatures have invented everything from underwater diving to the great pyramids, there are ants that practice base jumping and hang gliding, soldier ants that enslave others, ants that maintain underground farms and ant that harvest and store seeds. As Solomon said we could learn a lot from these one of the tiniest of creatures.

It begins with just one, which fragments into the multitude like splinters of reflective glass made from the fall of a single mirror from the vanity face. The Tequihua begins with a single brick and then more are laid to keep this one company and he calls it a temple.

British politics has recently been rocked by a scandal over the abuse of expense payments by Members of Parliament. It’s a scandal that may prematurely see Prime Minister Gordon Brown leaving office. Particularly disappointing is the sheer number involved. But is it the corrupt that seek power, or does power corrupt the initially well-intentioned? There is a tendency, in the Church today, toward adopting the manner and dress of the world. For instance, it is not uncommon to see tattooed and pierced persons in the pew on Sunday. Often these are not new Christians recently saved from the kingdom of darkness, but second and third generation Church goers, young (and no so young), people raised in Christian homes.

Our thoughts and focus give mass and form to potential quantum energy and we eventually experience our creation. None of us has much trouble creating positive emotions, or negatives for that matter; however, knowing how to deal with our negative emotions is more of a challenge. The answer is not so difficult really.

I don’t care how you look or how many limbs you have, unless you can say “this is the way God made me and I thank Him for it” your faith will always be marred by bitterness.
