Life is about the evolution of consciousness and we must look back upon history with discernment, not hate, regret or anger. We would not be who we are today if we did not experience these challenges or sufferings. Seek clarity with observation and know we all have choice.

Learn how to seek your spiritual path by awareness instead of pain. Self-command is a tool that helps you gentle examine where you are creating pain and helps you to utilize pleasure to bring about an enlightened feeling of joy, happiness and peace.

Back in 1998, when he was serving a prison sentence in northern Louisiana, Henry L. Jones read a column entitled: “Release from Prison Liberates; Truth Frees!” Near the end of the article, Jones read the following biblical quote: “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jer. 29:11)

It’s time that we take responsibility for our thoughts. We all have an extraordinary role to play in this world. Turn inward and recognize that part of our mission, our reason for being here, is to think responsibly and raise the consciousness so that we all can live more joyful lives.

Your life, my life and everyone else’s is Perfection in motion. You liken it to a stream. You put a boulder of rock on that stream and the water gets divided at the point where you put the boulder but at some point the water unites again. It does not matter how many boulders or small stones you put. You divide the water at those points, but the water unites regardless.

We are all born dreamers, but as we become adults and we inevitably meet life’s hardships, our self confidence and our ability to achieve can be altered. As we grow older, some of us no longer dare to dream for fear of appearing childish or being disappointed. In addition, we as human beings are conditioned to survive in an environment of threat when resources are scarce, and we are genetically structured to being alert to real and imagined dangers everywhere.

The tendency to want more of everything comes naturally to humans. The danger is not with the amount of wealth we possess but with how much our wealth possesses us. True freedom and contentment cannot be found in the things we own. The priceless gifts are given to us freely.
